Welcome to Norwich, Connecticut! We’ve been extending friendly greetings for quite awhile now. In fact, the first known use of the word “hello” in print occurred right here!

Building on this legacy, the Norwich Historical Society began using “Hello Norwich” as a way to promote heritage tourism in the city. HelloNorwich.org expands on this work by offering a warm welcome to all new residents and visitors, helping them find the many things that make our community so special.
